I represent clients throughout Brooklyn and New York City in cases of family law, employment law, immigration law and problems issues related to wills, trusts and estates. Being admitted to practice law in both New York State and the Caribbean, I am able to provide a wide range of legal assistance to my clients. I empathize with my clients while maintaining objectivity and providing straightforward legal advice.
During my 19 years of practice, I have been known for getting positive results for my clients. Whether this means fighting for my clients in litigation or negotiating a settlement, I work hard to protect my clients in employment law cases.
I work with clients to create safe working environments and create employment discrimination policies. I have extensive experience handling federal Title VII employment cases. Among many other employment needs, I can also draft exit agreements and negotiate severance packages.
Divorce and Family Law
I represent clients in most areas of family law cases related to divorce, including:

I am also able to assist clients with post-divorce matters, including modification or enforcement of support and custody agreements, domestic violence problems and orders for protection.
Trusts and Estates / Estate Planning
With extensive probate and estate administration experience, I handle my clients’ estate planning needs and any accompanying tax planning requirements. My estate planning practice includes drafting and reviewing wills, trusts, powers of attorney, health care directives and living wills. I also prepare and file probate and administration petitions and I represent clients in contested Surrogates Court proceedings.
